Rimini, 9-11 October 2024 . InOut|The Contract Community . taking place at Rimini Expo Centre from 9 to 11 October in parallel with TTG Travel Experience, both organized by Italian Exhibition Group . will feature several special projects in which visitors can participate, showcasing the latest solutions and innovations in the hospitality industry.
DESIGN AWARD AND INOUT SPECIAL PROJECTS
The 2024 edition of InOut will have a major new entry. For the first time, the ADI InOut Hospitality Design Award - in collaboration with ADI . the association for industrial design promoting and advocating Italian design . will award the best projects in hospitality with creative, sustainable solutions aimed at customer well-being.
Several special projects are also planned for the second edition of InOut.
The infinite chair. The exhibition created by Adi Design Museum and curated by architect Maite García Sanchis (pavilion D3) will explore the evolution of the chair over the last 70 years, highlighting 40 different iconic chairs.
Rooms . Interior Garden. The project, brainchild of in.circle, in collaboration with Atelierzero and cccppp.studio (pavilion D3) will unfold across four areas presenting four mock-ups of hotel rooms: Breath, Listen, Walk and Touch. ´We really wanted to push ourselves in this edition - says Gloria Armiri, Group Exhibition Manager of TTG and InOut -, exploring the role of designing sensations, the potential of a deep interaction expressed in the dialogue between the natural and artificial world´.
Beauty is the Splendour of Truth. The artistic installation (by Piscine Est) will bring the marriage of art and hospitality to the Rimini trade fair. It is the product of 10 artists selected by Cinquerosso Arte, who will create a total of 12 works to inspire the hotels of tomorrow. The selected artists are Silvia Bardani, Riccardo Basaglia, Anita Bortolotti, Giulio Brandelli, Erika Garbin, Bad Mandala, Filippo Mandroni, Marcello Niccodemi, Mattia Perru and Chiara Sgarzi.
Hospitality Circle: between space and relationship. The 2024 edition of InOut will also host the new project by architect Simone Micheli (pavilion D4): a setup composed of five macro scenes, characterized by circular two-dimensional geometries, which create thematic areas imagined to enhance products with a high aesthetic, technological and functional profile. There will also be a forum, where entrepreneurs and developers can discuss the future of hospitality.
Open Air Future. The project designed by THE NE[S]T studio will be curated by architect Paolo Scoglio (pavilion D5), with the aim of inspiring the hotels of tomorrow. With his [TREE]SHIP solution, Scoglio will present a living solution linked to trees, featuring a night under a starry sky, raised off the ground in a highly technological cabin in recycled aluminium, intrinsically linked to the surrounding environment.
Hotel in Motion. The event will address the growing theme of green building, and in particular the use of wooden construction systems as an excellent eco-sustainable innovation. Through the exhibition coordinated by architect Massimo Giordano, Hotel in Motion will represent a miniature hotel where visitors can closely observe the new frontier of the hotels of tomorrow.
Vision Labs. Large installations for outdoor living and garden design, located in pavilion B3 of Greenscape. Exhibition spaces in which design, architecture and nature come together to offer high-quality solutions for outdoor spaces. Welcoming visitors to the pavilion, with a guaranteed wow factor, will be ÔNatura e Artificio´, an installation that reflects on the relationship between man and nature, made with recycled and eco-friendly materials, created by architect Fabio Rotella.
Beach Village. The space will be used as a hub, where ambitious entrepreneurs in the beach&outdoor industry can learn about the most original and innovative proposals on the market. As a product placement strategy, exhibitors from the food world will be positioned next to the Beach Village thus creating a lounge within the Sun Beach&Outdoor area.
