Francesca Spinola
Journalist and reporter
A professional journalist, she grew up in Iran where she breathed the peculiarities of the Islamic world and its plural societies. A bachelor's degree in political science, one in Arabic and Islamics, she speaks five languages. She pursued her love of travel and passion for journalism by going to live in Africa where she wrote reports from Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Ghana, Senegal, Togo and Angola. Today she is involved in spreading cultural awareness about Islam and reporting on the other Africa, the Africa of youth, innovative ideas, and multiculturalism. She is the author of three essays and numerous articles, has a weekly column on Tunisian radio station RTCI, “L'attualità con Francesca”, collaborates with Warner Bros. Discovery and publishes a newsletter on Linkedin entitled, “L'Islam e una tazzina di caffè”.
