Maite García Sanchis
Architect and PhD
A PhD architect, she has been practicing as a designer and curator in Milan since 2013. She is a member of the editorial board of the architecture magazine Lotus and teaches at the Politecnico di Milano. She holds a PhD from IUAV and a Master in Advanced Architectural Design from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
She has curated exhibitions, seminars and publications on architecture and design in Spain, Italy and China, focusing on residential architecture in city transformation processes and the relationship between architecture and design, collaborating with institutions such as the Ministry of Infrastructure in Spain, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Spain, MAXXI, Triennale di Milano or ADI Design Museum. She was appointed Design Ambassador on the occasion of Italian Design Day in the 2023 and 2024 editions.
