He has been dealing with tourism since 1990, in the role of Director of the Tourist Promotion Board of Padua, Terme Euganee, Rovigo, Vicenza and of Tourism Padua Terme Euganee until 2012. Since 2003 he has been collaborating with the University of Padua and is currently working as Adjunct Professor of Tourism Economics in the degree course of Planning and Management of Cultural tourism, a member of the Organising Committee and professor on the course of Master in Design of the tourist offer. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of ITS Tourism Veneto and of the journals Tourism and Psychology and Regional Studies & Local Development.
He has been a member of the Advisory Board of the BTO, Florence since 2018. He has dedicated numerous publications to the theme of governance for the tourism sector and to destination management and destination marketing.
