The adventurous life of the inventor of Overland, a man passionate about adventure, mountains and human beings. From the first great overland expedition between Rome and New York via the Bering Strait in four trucks, to subsequent explorations in the Himalayas in the company of the great mountaineer Reinhold Messner and the many expeditions along the Silk Road, in Northern Europe and North America, Patagonia and on Kilimanjaro.
