The growing importance of the figure of the Destination Manager in Italy and worldwide is the theme of this appointment created for TTG Travel Experience. An opportunity to define, develop and promote a new DM figure, more evolved, competent, innovative and interconnected, able to operate effectively in both public and private spheres, for the development and promotion of Italian tourist destinations.
During the meeting, with the support of analysis, data and best practices, we will discuss the representativeness of the new national association, the necessary and recognizable skills of the DM - in particular the role and functions of the DM with respect to the different organizational conjugations (DMOs, DMCs, etc.) - and the future scenario, taking into account the differentiation of applicable models of governance and organization in the territories.
