How much does the age factor affect travel choice and the tourist cycle? How much do the preferences, information sources used and booking channels of seniors differ from those of Gen Z? Are we sure we already know everything about the processes that affect the younger generation? We are increasingly talking about buyer personas, fictitious groups of people accumulated by common interests and traits, to identify business objectives and strategies to engage and win over these targets. The new travel profiles, their characteristics and habits emerge distinctly from the latest research conducted in September 2024 by Interface Tourism, a marketing and communications company based in Milan, based on interviews conducted on more than 4,000 Italians and presented in collaboration with SiViaggia, a digital magazine dedicated to Tourism and Travel, a leader in the Travel segment.
