Alberto Corti
Tourism Sector Manager at Confcommercio-Imprese per l'Italia
Alberto Corti was born in Milan in 1964 and he graduated in 1989 in Business Management with a specialization in Marketing from Luigi Bocconi University of Milan, with a thesis on tourist flows and marketing policies. After working at the study centre of FIAVET (the Italian Federation of travel and tourism businesses) he moved to Rome where - from 1999 to 2002 - he first became coordinator of the national secretariat and then Secretary General of the Federation. From 2002 to 2008 he held the position of General Manager of ASTOI, the Association of Italian Tour Operators. Then he started working in Confcommercio Imprese per l’Italia where he was the head of FEDERVIAGGIO (Federation of Organized Tourism), and in 2013 he took on the position of Head of the Tourism Sector, which he currently holds.
