A traveler from birth following her cosmopolitan family, Tullia Caballero spent her childhood between the United Kingdom and Peru before coming to Italy at age 13. Raised in multiculturalism and enriched by knowledge of three languages, a passion for outdoor travel and an insatiable curiosity about the world, she found her natural vocation in active tourism: she trained as an interpreter, tour leader and walking travel designer for WWF before joining Dutch SNP, among the largest active travel tour operators in Europe, where she worked as product manager for Italy. In 1999 she founded S-Cape Travel Italy, now an established active travel tour operator part of an international network with offices in Italy, Spain, France, Greece UK, and the Netherlands. In 2016 she became a partner and director of SloWays, a tour operator specializing in the great Italian and European walking routes. Her most recent venture is ActiveItaly, a business network of Italian tour operators engaged in the promotion and marketing of active travel, of which she is founder and vice president as well as Ambassador of the Adventure Travel Trade Association.
