Expert in European Union and competition law. He began his career in Brussels, dealing with issues functional to the creation of the single common market: from the liberalization of public services, to procurement, to the free movement of ser-vices and capital. He has thus had the opportunity to delve into the Bolkenstein directive, which is at the ori-gine of the litigation that has arisen in recent years in Italy over beach concessions. He regularly assists Italian and foreign companies before the European Commission and the Court of Justice. He is, in addition, very active in the area of national or EU merger control, in the defense of companies accused of restrictive agreements or abuse of dominant position, in actions for damages for antitrust violations. He has been a Partner of BonelliErede since its founding.
