EuroVelo, the real Europe by bicycle. Data and prospects for the growth of two-wheeled tourism in Italy

The European cycleways network EuroVelo and its development in Italy are the focus of the meeting organized by FIAB - Federazione Italiana Ambiente e Bicicletta at TTG Travel Experience. An appointment to learn about data updated to September 2024, processed by the world's largest network: cycleways, kilometers covered by the routes, tracks downloaded, site visits, related services, certification process. FIAB, which is on its way to becoming the Italian EuroVelo Coordination Center, will present the data of a major project to be carried out in synergy with regions and other public and private entities, for a strategic governance of the Peninsula's bicycle routes.
The Ciclovia del Sole and the Ciclovia dei Parchi della Calabria will be presented on this occasion. Both are part of EV7 and, for the good practices put in place, are an important example of the enhancement of routes and territories crossed.
