Founder in 1984, together with Piero Barucci, of the Italian Tourism Report, a work that has just reached its XXVI edition. He is one of Italy's leading tourism experts; he has written reports and studies for local and regional institutions and national and international companies. Since 1981 he has carried out academic activities in the main Italian universities; he has been an adjunct professor at the universities of Florence and Catania and at the IULM in Milan. Founder of the scientific journal "Turistica".
