Adriano Apicella - CEO WTG

CEO WTG

He is the CEO of Welcome Travel Group, a role he has held since February 2017. He is also vice president of FTO (Federation of Organized Tourism), further consolidating his leadership position in the travel and tourism industry. Apicella has an academic background in economics from Sacred Heart Catholic University and in management from Bocconi University. Apicella began his career in the travel industry in 2001 as Administration and Finance Manager at Uvet Spa. In 2008, he joined Welcome Travel Group as Director of Industrial Relations, managing key relationships and partnerships with major players in the industry, including Alpitour and Costa Crociere. Under his leadership, Welcome Travel Group developed and maintained a network of more than 1,000 travel agencies throughout Italy. Apicella also participated in strategic initiatives, including an agreement with BIT Milan to strengthen the company's position in the international tourism industry.
