The Regional Passenger and Intermodal Development Department ensures the regional railway service on the entire national territory (except for Lombardy and Emilia Romagna) and takes care of intermodality and rail+road integration projects: about 6,000 trains per day, 410 million passengers per year, 70,000 direct and indirect points of sale, 30 rolling stock maintenance plants, 20 production plants, a fleet of about 1,200 trains, 13,300 resources.
