Professor of Tourism Marketing at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and Project Manager for the Venice Foundation World Capital of Sustainabilitỳ

For 20 years, he has been involved in strategic analysis and consulting for major tourism organisations and operators. Author of numerous reports and publications: he is the first definition and framework on the potential̀ in Italy of origins (now roots) tourism in 2016, the conception of an innovative indicator to measure sustainabilitỳ for tourist destinations in 2022 the analysis of Italian cultural tourism destinations for the latest edition of the Italian Tourism Report. He was also Statistical Expert for UN Tourism for the development of tourism and national statistical systems in several Silk Road countries.
