Sara Digiesi
CEO of BWH Hotel Group Italy
Chief Executive Officer of BWH Hotels Italia since 2022, he began his journey in the hotel group with the role of Head of Marketing and, over time, expanded his responsibilities to the areas of Sales, Distribution, Digital and Innovation, Customer Experience, Strategy and Sustainability.
He has been a strong driving force behind BWH Hotels' ESG approach, from the implementation of Stay for The Planet and inclusive hospitality initiatives to the transformation of BWH Hotels Italia into a Benefit Company.
Globally, he represents the BWH Group as a member of the GBTA Sustainability Leadership Council and World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, within the Standards and Reporting Impact Committee.
Prior to joining BWH, Sara Digiesi served as Country Marketing Manager for Italy and Malta at IHG Hotel Group. During her studies, she held operational roles in several resorts in Kenya, Dominican Republic and Tunisia.
She holds a degree in Tourism Economics and Management. She attended a Master's degree in Tourism Economics in Milan, at Bocconi University, and in 2022 she earned an additional Master's degree in Sustainability and Green Economy.
She is in the ranking of the “100 Women in Command” compiled annually by Forbes Italy, and the “50 Most Powerful Women 2023” by Fortune Italy.
